Periodic Table of Venture Capital

One of the maxims-tenets-principles of Social Quantum Theory, (a theory proposed and developed by the Dodd-Spady-Kirby-Shaw lineage, see:
stuartcdoddinstitute.org)
is that by applying the lessons of math-physics-quantum mechanics we can learn useful lessons in the social sciences. Our hypothesis in this article is that periodicity occurs in the phenomena of venture capital, and more specifically, that venture capital firms exhibit characteristics that can be better understood by organizing them (or perhaps more accurately, by their self-organization) in a table comparable to the Periodic Chart of Elements.
In wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periodic_chart
we find this explanation of the Periodic Chart:
"generally credited to Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869. Mendeleev intended the table to illustrate recurring ("periodic") trends in the properties of the elements...an extremely useful framework to classify, systematize and compare all the many different forms of chemical behavior."

Below is a compilation from the google news clipping service, keywords "Venture capital" from the previous few weeks. Shortly I will evaluate this compilation from the standpoint of the "Periodic Chart of Venture Capital" suggested by Dr. Kirby.
